Safety cabinets and isolators are one of the most important safety devices in many biotechnological and pharmaceutical laboratories. Regular testing and maintenance of the safety cabinets by certified service technicians in accordance with DIN EN 12469 and DIN 12980 is essential in order to maintain the protection of employees and the product in the long term and to comply with legal requirements.

    Our service technicians

    Our service technicians have a great deal of experience with the appliances and have mastered the test procedures. To ensure that this remains the case, all our technicians are individually tested by TÜV every two years. The TÜV personal certification "Certificate of competence for service technicians of microbiological safety cabinets and cytostatic safety cabinets" is considered the most fundamental training. A one-week intensive training course followed by a theoretical and practical examination leads to personal certification with proof of calibrated measuring equipment.


    The specialist knowledge imparted is then tested annually.
